Alteo is looking for a Cloud Analyst for a permanent position based in Montreal.
You will play a key role in the design, deployment, management and optimization of the company's cloud solutions. Working with the Infrastructure, Network and Operations teams, you will participate in the implementation of secure, scalable and highly available cloud architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the administration of the cloud platform with the aim of guaranteeing availability and reliability.
- Design, deploy and maintain cloud solutions using services such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Participate in defining technical platform requirements in coordination with project teams.
- Implement cost management strategies to optimize cloud infrastructure.
- Automate recurring tasks using automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible).
- Monitor application and cloud infrastructure performance, identify problems and implement solutions.
- Ensure the management of production incidents and their resolutions, if not their cascades.
- Provide technical support to internal teams for cloud-related issues.
- Ensure evolution and migration according to technical recommendations and/or those of service providers and editors.
- Ensure system security to guarantee platform availability and reliability
- Ensure data and application security by implementing appropriate cloud protection measures.
- Monitor and escalate security incidents.
- Participate in platform security audits
- Contribute to the development of colleagues' skills, with the aim of improving collective performance.
- Provide coaching, support and back-up to colleagues.
Profile:
- DEC/BAC in IT or equivalent
- 5-8 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in the electronic payment industry (asset)
- Design and implementation of Cloud architectures
- Mastery of cloud services such as AWS, Azure or GCI
- Knowledge of automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
- Security of cloud environments
