Alteo is looking for a SAP Business One (B1) Business Analyst for a permanent job based in Laval.
You will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and supporting the implementation and optimization of SAP B1 solutions. The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into SAP B1 configurations and improvements to drive operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and document business processes.
- Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement using SAP B1.
- Create detailed business and functional specifications for system enhancements or new implementations.
- Configure SAP B1 modules to meet business needs
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP B1 users.
- Collaborate with SAP B1 developers and consultants for technical implementations.
- Develop test plans and conduct system tests to ensure SAP B1 solutions meet business requirements.
- Identify, report, and track defects and work with technical teams to resolve issues.
- Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions for business users.
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization or process automation.
- Stay up-to-date on SAP B1 updates and new features to recommend best practices.
Profile:
- DEC / BAC in IT, Software Engineering or equivalent
- 3-5+ years of experience as Business Analyst
- Proficiency with SAP B1 functionality, customization, and integration
- Proven experience in implementing and supporting SAP B1 environment in a manufacturing, distribution or retail environment
- Experience in Supply Chain / Logistics / Warehouse management is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess business challenges and identify technology-driven solutions.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
