Alteo is looking for a Systems Administrator for a permanent position based in Laval.
*** Hybrid work: 3 days office / 2 days home (after probation) ***
You will be responsible for maintaining systems and services, and providing technical support to users. You will supervise a junior IT technician.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the installation, configuration, maintenance and security of computer systems (Windows, networks, servers, etc.).
- Implementing best practices in cybersecurity and managing access and updates.
- Ensuring the proper functioning of workstations, networks, servers and collaborative tools.
- Identify and implement solutions to automate and optimize systems and support management.
- Manage level 2 user support, resolve incidents and optimize troubleshooting processes.
- Support a junior IT technician.
Profile:
- AEC/DEC in IT or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience
- 3+ years of system administration experience (Windows)
- Expertise in technical support and IT infrastructure management
- Experience with virtualization and configuration management tools (asset)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, self motivated, eager to learn
- Dedicated, reliable, takes ownership
- Team player with a positive attitude
